Hey, friend.
It finally happened. The night owl phase is over. I didn’t even chose this. Because of the type of work that I do, I’ve always thought working late hours was the way to go. And I haven’t change my mind about this… But apparently my body has.
A few weeks ago, I needed to stay up late, and I did. But the next days were awful. I needed 3 full nights of doing nothing after office but sleep to recover myself from that.
A few days ago, the same thing happened. I stayed up late but Thursday was awful in terms of energy, Friday was barely bearable and yesterday I started to feel like myself again.
I started to ask close friends about this and most of them have received the same message from their body: the night owl phase is over.
It’s not the we don’t rather write, work, create, edit at night, it’s just that our bodies don’t want to, anymore.
Take care of yourself and listen to your body.
