“The first day of every year since I turned 18, I like to give myself a question to answer for a full year. On January 1st of 2017 I asked myself how the healthiest version of myself would look like. I promised myself to do whatever I had in my hands to find her in the next 12 months. At the same time, @blogilates published her #28DayReset Challenge for January and I did it with #PIIT.
At the end of January I had lost 9kg (20lbs). It was a great kickstart for my own personal challenge to find my healthiest version. I learned some things from the way I was eating and I started to give myself food that didn’t hurt my body.
My journey with #PIIT was tough! But I committed, I started by reading the book and I was SO glad most of the moves had modifications because I wasn’t able to jump! I “walked” most of the moves and, even though I wasn’t as disciplined as required, I still had a great change! I was feeling more energy and my schedule could change without hesitation! (I used to be a night owl). But what I’m happiest about is that I started this journey as an experiment and for health. I love whenever I upload a transformation picture, my closest friends always say that it only changed my “package” but I was happy and I was smiling all the time.
As a joke I say that the only problem I have after PIIT is that my clothes didn’t fit anymore (they were so big!) and I had to buy two new jeans to go to University!”
